Lisa Edelstein, an American actress who is best known for House which is a Fox medical drama series. Growing up with conservative Jews in Wayne, New York City was where she set her sights to study acting at Tisch. However, very quickly, she became engaged in the city's nightclub scene and made enough noise to be noticed by the press, concurrently, becoming aware of the devastation of AIDS. She used both her experience in the music industry and public recognition to make and appear in a musical of her own, Positive Me. Awake the Wild Side, a show that she hosted on MTV was soon her assignment. After it was taken off air, she was able to appear in TV and films, initially in short roles before establishing herself as an actress.
